BW-250 mud pump is a horizontal three-cylinder reciprocating single-acting piston pump It is one of the main supporting equipment for geological exploration.

Its main function is to supply flushing fluid (mud or clean water) into the borehole during the core drilling process, so that it can be circulated in the borehole, so as to carry the cuttings back to the ground, cool and lubricate the drill bit and drilling tool, and protect the hole wall from preventing. It can also be used as a cement slurry infusion pump in the foundation treatment project. The water-cement ratio of the cement slurry can reach 1:1. It has the characteristics of small size, compact structure, easy installation and disassembly, and easy handling.

The pump can be used as supporting equipment for 1,000-meter large-diameter drilling rigs, with four-speed displacement. The flushing fluid used should not contain chemical impurities that corrode metal and rubber parts. When using mud, the recommended specific gravity is 1.03-1.10, the viscosity is 18-25 seconds, the sand content is not more than 4%, and the PH value is 7-8. There should be no mud, weeds, leaves and other debris that block the water filter in the mud. The length of the suction pipe should not exceed 5-6 meters.
