Audited Supplier The ANBIT deep well water sounder provides the most accurate method for measuring water level. It is usually used to measure the water level in wells, boreholes and water level pipes. It is especially suitable for observation of groundwater level in hydro-power projects or dam body wetting line of earth-rock dams.The instrument can be used both during construction and long-term safety monitoring of the project, in line with the technical specifications for earth-rock dam safety monitoring.
Working Principle
The probe part: It is made of stainless steel, has a water resistance contact point inside. When it touches the water surface, it will connect to the receiving system. When it leaves the water surface, it will automatically close the receiving system.
Steel ruler cable part: The steel ruler and the wire are combined in a plastic process to prevent rust and simplify the operation process.
The receiving system part is composed of the sounder and the peak indication. The sounder emits a continuous beep sound by the buzzer, and the peak indication is the voltmeter pointer indication. Both can be selected by the switching the switch, and the measurement accuracy is consistent.
The reel part consists of a winding disc and a bracket. The receiving system and the battery are placed in the reel, and the steel cable is outside.
Operation
During the test, tighten the screw on the back of the reel, let the reel rotate freely, then press the power button (the power indicator is on), put the probe into the water level tube, and take the steel cable to make the probe slowly downward. Moving, when the sensor of the probe touches the water surface, the sound of the receiving system will emit a continuous beeping sound. At this time, the depth dimension of the steel cable at the nozzle is read and written, which shows the groundwater level.
If the beep is not heard when measuring in a noisy environment, the peak indication can be used instead.Turn the selector switch on the dashboard to the voltage level.
Note
When the sensor of the probe touches the water surface, the sounder will make a sound, or the voltmeter will immediately indicate it. At this time, the steel cable should be slowly removed, and the exact position of the sound or the indication moment should be carefully searched. The depth dimension of the point will be shown.
The accuracy of the reading depends on the timely determination of the buzzer or the starting position of the indication. The accuracy of the measurement is related to the proficiency of the operator, so please practise before using
